Report: The Abolition of Freedom Act 2009 This UCL SHRP research report, edited by the Guardian's Liberty Central columnist Henry Porter, was complied for The Convention on Modern Liberty on 28 February and marks the beginning of a research project that seeks to reflect on legislation since the Human Rights Act 1998 and the unintended consequences it has had on rights and liberties in the UK.
